# Can I Visit My Home When It's Under Construction?

**Unfortunately no, this is not permissible while your home is under construction.**

While it's inspiring to be a part of the home-building process, safety is our number one priority. Excel Homes, the Construction Teams and Our Trade Partners follow strict guidelines enforced and set by the Alberta Government under the [Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)](https://www.alberta.ca/occupational-health-safety). **No access is a strictly enforced practice.**

There will be home appointments that will allow you to visit the site, and you will be reminded of those dates as your home goes through the [construction process](https://info.excelhomes.ca/knowledge/what-are-the-stages-of-construction?hsLang=en).
