How Do I Transfer My Warranty to a New Homeowner?

This article explains the important steps that need to occur if you sell your home to a new homeowner within your warranty period.

During a home's warrantable lifetime, it is possible that if will change possession from one homeowner to another. Excel Homes' Warranty Departments work directly with homeowners or an appointed property manager.

To ensure that Excel Homes' Warranty Departments communicate efficiently and effectively with the correct contact, if a home is sold, a Excel Homes Warranty Certificate Transfer Form must be completed by the new homeowner.

Once the forms are completed and the warranty has been transferred to the new homeowner, the Excel Homes Warranty Department Administration will connect the new homeowner with their Warranty Specialist.

If this new homeowner would also like to appoint a property manager for this home, they will also need to complete the Excel Homes Proxy Request Form.
