The second home tour you will experience in your home-building journey is the Cabinet Walkthrough.
Your home is truly beginning to take shape now that your cabinets have all been installed! You will be invited to tour your home with your Area Sales Team.
We will now be in the finishing stages and we know that you will be pleased with the quality of construction that we put into every home. Your Area Sales Team will walk you through your home to review any questions that you may have and discuss the next steps in your home-building process.
At this stage of the build, we are unable to facilitate any further changes without affecting the schedule of your completed house and completing change orders that will incur costly late fees. Instead, this meeting with your Site Superintendent is the ideal time to ask questions, confirm your choices and learn more about the process of building your home. If you would like to discuss a change further, please speak to your Area Sales Team.
Your Cabinet Walkthrough is the ideal time to measure your windows for any window coverings that you may want to install after possession, so please come prepared with a notebook and measuring tape.
The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a place of togetherness and we know that you will be excited to envision the happy memories that you will make in your new Excel home!
Please Note: In the event you cannot attend this tour, we will proceed with construction to stay on schedule, and you will have deemed to have waived your right to the Cabinet Walkthrough.
The Cabinet Walkthrough takes place in an active construction site; therefore, we ask that you follow the Excel Homes guidelines for your visit:
- Please dress appropriately for a construction site. Protective headgear and appropriate shoes must be worn at your Cabinet Walkthrough. We will provide hard hats and we ask that you wear sturdy closed-toed footwear.
- Safety is our number one priority; therefore, no one under the age of 18 is allowed to accompany the homeowners on the Cabinet Walkthrough.
