If you moved into your home during the winter months, the grading of your home could be completed in the warmer months.
The grading of your lot is completed based on reports created by our land surveyors in order to ensure that your lot is draining properly, and you don’t end up with pooling water at your foundation or in other areas of your property.
Our trade partners need to wait until the frost has come out of the ground completely, and they also need to allow the area to dry up so that machines, equipment and even workers, don’t end up stuck in your yard.
Once the concrete has been completed and has had an opportunity to cure, the grading will begin, weather permitting, in a similar fluid method as the concrete install.
Once the grading has been completed, it will be reviewed by the municipality. When it is approved, they will provide us with a Lot Grade Certificate for your home.
Once you have received this, you can then proceed with any fencing, deck, patio and landscaping projects that you may have planned.
