POST-POSSESSION APPLIANCE GUIDE
All appliances are covered by a one (1) year Manufacturer's warranty, that is not transferrable between homeowners.
Please Note: This does not include cosmetic damages. It is your responsibility to ensure you register your appliances with the manufacturer/supplier within one month of possession.
An extended warranty package is available from the supplier for purchase. If you are interested in an extended warranty on your appliances, please reach out to Trail Appliances to assist you with this purchase. Extended warranties (after 1 year of ownership) are transferrable between homeowners.
Here's a list of the appliances that you need to register:
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Washing machine
- Dryer
- Range hood fan
- Fridge
- Hot water tank
- Furnace
- HRV (heat recovery ventilator)
In your mechanical room on your air intake you will be able to find your emergency sticker (shown below). This will help guide you in emergency situations and guide you towards your heat, plumber, and electrical trade partner.
When you take possession of your home, we highly recommend you take photos of the serial numbers of your appliances and save it in an easily accessible location as this will be needed when reporting any appliance issues. You can also find a sticker (shown below) on the back of your possession documents folder where you can easily note these important numbers.
If you would like recommendations for any other home suppliers we recommend reaching out to our trade partner Virtuo to assist you with guidance (e.g. blind suppliers, cleaners, landscapers, etc.).
